Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 6, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Coop (“Coop”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our websites, web dashboard, REST API, webhooks, desktop relay application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
Coop is an iMessage relay platform that lets businesses send and receive iMessages through Mac computers they own and operate. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to two distinct groups:
- Customers — businesses and individuals who create a Coop workspace, connect a relay Mac, and use the dashboard, API, or desktop app.
- End contacts — people who send messages to, or receive messages from, a Coop customer’s relay number or Apple ID.
Customers act as the data controller for messages and contact information processed through their workspace. Coop acts as a data processor on their behalf. Customers are responsible for providing notice to and obtaining any required consent from their end contacts.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Account information
When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, authentication identifiers, workspace name, team membership, role, and billing details. If you sign in via a third-party identity provider, we receive the profile information that provider shares with us.
3.2 Message and conversation data
The Service relays iMessages through Macs that you connect. Through this relay we process:
- Message bodies, attachments, and link previews.
- Sender and recipient identifiers (phone numbers, Apple IDs, handles).
- Timestamps, delivery and read receipts, and reaction events.
- Conversation metadata (participants, threading, group state).
We store this data on your behalf so that your team can view history, automate replies, and run analytics inside the Coop dashboard.
3.3 Contacts
The desktop app exports the contacts present on the connected Mac and syncs them to your workspace so that conversations can be attributed to known people. You control which Macs are connected and can disconnect a relay at any time.
3.4 Relay and device telemetry
From the desktop relay app and Mac runtime we collect operational signals required to keep the relay healthy: connection status, permission states, queue depth, error logs, sync progress, and version information. We do not capture screen contents, keystrokes outside of the relay flow, or unrelated files from the Mac.
3.5 Usage and product analytics
When you use the dashboard or marketing site we collect standard web analytics: pages visited, features used, IP address, browser type, device characteristics, referrer, and timestamps. We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and analytics.
3.6 Support and communications
When you contact support, request early access, or sign up for updates, we keep the messages you send us along with relevant metadata so we can respond and improve the Service.
4. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- Relay outbound and inbound iMessages on your behalf and keep a searchable history for your workspace.
- Run the automations, bulk sends, and CRM integrations you configure.
- Authenticate users, enforce permissions, and protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- Monitor relay health, debug issues, and improve reliability and performance.
- Generate aggregate analytics about how the Service is used.
- Communicate with you about your account, security, billing, and product updates.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
5. Legal bases for processing (EEA / UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information under one or more of the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract — to deliver the Service you signed up for.
- Legitimate interests — to secure, improve, and operate the Service, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent — for optional analytics, marketing emails, and any processing where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws.
6. How we share information
We share information only as described below:
- Within your workspace — messages, contacts, and analytics are visible to other members of your workspace according to the roles and permissions you configure.
- Service providers (sub-processors) — cloud hosting, managed databases, email delivery, error monitoring, customer support, and product analytics vendors that help us run the Service. They process information on our instructions under written agreements.
- Integrations you enable — when you connect Coop to a CRM, webhook endpoint, or other third-party system, we share data with that system per your configuration.
- Legal and safety — to comply with valid legal process, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Coop, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share message content with advertisers.
7. Apple iMessage and your Mac
Coop relays messages through Macs that you operate. Apple is not a party to your use of Coop, and your use of iMessage remains subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy. You are responsible for:
- The Apple ID and phone number used on the relay Mac and any authority to send messages from those identifiers.
- Notifying recipients, where required, that messages may be handled by your team through the Coop platform.
- Complying with all applicable laws governing electronic communications, marketing messages, and recordkeeping.
8. Data retention
We retain message content, contacts, and analytics for as long as your workspace is active, or as needed to provide the Service. When a workspace is deleted, we delete or anonymize associated data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal, security, or backup-recovery purposes.
You can delete individual messages, contacts, or your account from the dashboard at any time, subject to retention requirements described above.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, and misuse. These include encryption of data in transit, access controls, audit logging, and least-privilege production access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International data transfers
We operate from the United States and may process information in other countries where we or our service providers have facilities. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms (such as the Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect information transferred outside your country.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can also opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any such email.
For information processed on behalf of a Coop customer, please contact that customer directly. We will support our customers in responding to verifiable requests.
To exercise your rights against Coop, contact us at privacy@feeble.io. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
12. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Cookies and tracking
We use first-party cookies for authentication and preferences, and limited third-party cookies for analytics and marketing attribution. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may impair parts of the Service.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you through the dashboard or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
